Southern Asset Management was incredibly proud to sponsor the Best Newcomer category at the TeesBizWomen Awards at Hardwick Hall Hotel last night.
It was an evening filled with celebration, inspiration and entrepreneurial spirit from across our region. A huge well done to all the winners and those shortlisted – what an incredible showcase of talent, determination and success!
Our congratulations to Sophie Dunn of CF Fertilisers, winner of our Best Newcomer category, and to the amazing shortlisted finalists Beth Wilson and Eva Quinn – we’re so proud of all three of you! 🌟
Bravo to Rachel Burke of Tracerco, this year’s Tees Businesswoman of the Year. It was a pleasure meeting you before your name was announced, and we know you’ll be a fantastic successor to Danielle Croche.
A very special tribute, too, to Ann Ming, an extraordinary woman from Billingham who, through unimaginable heartbreak following the murder of her daughter Julie, showed true Northern grit and resilience.
Ann fought tirelessly to change the double jeopardy law – and won! She received the Jane Turner Award for Outstanding Contribution, embodying strength, courage and love. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when she took to the stage. What a woman! 💪
A huge thank you to Tees Business for hosting such a memorable evening, and to the wonderful guests who joined our CEO Steve Southern and Head of Communications and Business Development Julie Burniston at our table – Hannah Webster, Harry Fodden Holly Kitching, Louise Croche, Angela Turley, Chelsea Power, Kris Hickman and Lucy Tyreman.
You were all amazing company, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!
